bb2Building Bridges kicked off in The Netherlands! From now until August, Jilt van Schayik (UN Youth Representative for The Netherlands) and Teun Meulepas will be cycling from Amsterdam to Cape Town to gather global voices and make sure that they are heard by representatives around the globe! That’s over a dozen countries in six months by bike!

Jilt and Teun have teamed up with The Voice of Women and the African Youth Movement to make sure that women and youth are having their voices heard. Throughout the trip, Building Bridges will be meeting with both government representatives and local peoples to find out what are their top priorities. The Building Bridges team has also incorporated 12 youth ambassadors to help welcome Jilt annd Teun to their country. During the bike tour, they will be taking pictures for Humans of MY World, gathering MY World votes, and organizing forums with young people to discuss their priorities for the post-2015 agenda.

If you haven’t already, make sure to cast your own vote to the MY World survey here! 2015 is an important year– let’s make sure everyone’s voices are heard!
