About Asian Youth Workers Training (AYWT)
Korea Youth Work Agency is implementing a training program aimed at supporting Asian youth workers as a great leader who can bring positive changes in youth life. The program, which began in 2007, creates opportunities for youth workers to study the social and political situation of young people in Asia through high level of lectures, study trips and workshops.
Now Asian Youth Workers Training is part of important Youth workers training opportunities in Asia. It provides youth workers with newly creative ideas, synergy and complementarity with other partners in the field.
Target group
Ø  Those who are working at youth organizations or center.
Ø  Governments’ officers who are in charge of youth-related work.
Ø  Youth workers who have demonstrated strong leadership.
Aim and Objectives
Ø  Providing the introduction about Korean Youth policy and Youth activity program.
Ø  Enabling participants to develop the necessary knowledge, skills and principles for planning long-term strategy of youth activities in their own countries.
Ø  Offering the opportunity to meet Asian youth workers and making contacts with other countries.
